How Florida is Becoming a Major Logistics Hub in the US

The sunshine state is making great strides in improving transportation, putting it in a pivotal position as a major logistics hub in the nation after numerous improvements have been made to airports, seaports, intermodal and roads.

“As we look at the trends in Florida transportation and the pressures of increasing numbers of population, trade, and visitors, we must focus our efforts on delivering solutions that not only improve the business climate of Florida, but also the quality of life and quality of Florida’s communities,” Executive V.P. and Chief Marketing Officer of RS&H Joe Debs told the Florida Chamber of Commerce.

That’s HUGE for our beautiful state, not only with boosting the economy and making the everyday commute easy and safe, but by opening up hundreds of thousands of jobs in the transportation industry.
